Share Christ - Grow in Christ - Serve Christ

Worship

Listen to what Paul writes about worship in Romans 12: "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God -- this is your spiritual act of worship."

Simply defined, worship is seeing God accurately and responding appropriately.  Notice the movement from 'view' to 'offer' in the verse above.  In other words, seeing becomes responding.  Our hope is that our Sunday morning services will give you a glimpse of who God is and provide you one way to respond to and interact with God.

However, worship isn't just something we do on Sunday, just something we do in a sanctuary, or just something we do when we sing.  It does include these things, but it's so much more than that.  So while the tabs on the left will give you more information about our Sunday morning worship services, please know that they are just one form of worship.  In fact, 'worship' actually comes from two Old English words which mean "to declare worth."  Any time we're declaring the worth of God, we're worshiping.  May we declare His worth at all times and in every way.
