United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

"UMW" is a verb: for over 135 years UMW has been working for the welfare of women, children, and youth throughout the world. Will you join us to make the world a better place?

Ongoing Initiatives

In November, we hold our Thank Offering service at each worship gathering. We pass out Thank Offering Jars for people who wish to participate. In the jars they put money throughout the year each time they are thankful for something. We collect them at the annual Thank Offering Service. The money raised is sent to Women's Division to be used in many missions throughout the world. This past year, we were able to collect over $1200. Thank you for being so thankful! If you weren't able to turn in your jar during the service, feel free to do so in the church office.
